I have always loved creating. My journey with photography began with a point-and-shoot camera in 3rd grade and took off when I studied Visual Communications at the University of South Carolina (go gamecocks!). During those years, my creative work focused largely on documentary film and photojournalism. To this day, I seek to infuse a storytelling approach to the way I capture images.

Since moving back to VA, I've come alongside dozens of couples, families, and organizations to capture their milestone moments. I hope yours might be next!

We're not in a hurry.

Living in Northern VA, life moves fast. But I want your photo session to feel like a long, deep breath in. A counter-cultural break in the hustle and hurry of daily life. No rush. No hurry. No panic. Just presence.

For my portrait sessions, I've intentionally crafted packages that allow for ample time for us to capture variety and real connection.

For events and weddings, we'll work together on the timeline and logistics to ensure plenty of buffer time while still keeping a natural flow to the day.

No two sessions are the same, and I love that! If something isn’t working, we don’t stress—we adjust.

Some of the most stunning, artful images happen when we lean into the moment and work with what is, not what “should” be - in a way that still aligns with your goals and vision.
